Colorado Science and Engineering Fair
2010 Finalist Registration Form

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • You MUST FIRST participate and win at a Regional Science Fair BEFORE being eligible to register for the Colorado Science and Engineering Fair. This is NOT a registration form for your Regional Science Fair - see your regional fair director for details on participating in a Regional Science Fair.
  • The deadline for all finalist registrations is March 19th.
  • * indicates REQUIRED fields - these must be filled in before the system will let you continue.
  • Use TAB to move between fields, DO NOT use the ENTER key as this will submit the form prematurely.
  • Do NOT use your browser's BACK button either - this will result in two submissions!!
  • Answer all questions completely.
  • DO NOT use all capitals.
  • Once you submit this information, you will be taken to the Registration Review Page. After reviewing your information you will be taken to the Verification Page. You must print the Verification Page and get the required signatures (Finalist, Parent & Regional Fair Director).
  • Use the on-line CSEF Abstract Form (individual or team) to type your abstract, print a copy to sign and submit an electronic copy of your project's abstract. NOTE: you MUST have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher installed on your computer for this to work - Mac users should check to make sure they have this installed before attempting to submit the abstract as your browser will use a "preview" mode to view the page, but the submit will not work that way
  • Give the signed Verification Form, the official CSEF Abstract Form, and the required ISEF Paperwork to your Regional Fair Director for submission to the CSEF Director & CSEF Scientific Review Committee.
  • If you notice a mistake after you have submitted the form, please DO NOT resubmit a new registration. Access your registration information through the Finalist Registration Edit Form. You must have the password you created in order to access the database. If you have forgotten your password, contact the CSEF Director.
  • Notes to Teams:
    • All team members must complete and submit a separate registration form.
    • Teams are placed within a discipline category for judging, so remember to choose a category

There are no restrictions on this password, but you should create something that you can remember, but others can't guess. Be sure to write down your password in a secure place.
